Document outlining the UI design guidelines and intent for the coronary imaging software
In addition to creating new prototypes and features, I designed the document structure and page layouts for the software’s UI Specifications Document. I referenced the content of the previous UI Specifications Document for an older version of the software to gain a better understanding of the medical terminology I was writing about. In addition, I collaborated with other members of the software development team and the Senior UX Designer to provide me with peer feedback throughout the process.
The document provides both a broader view of the interactions between larger features and screens, as well as a more in-depth analysis of smaller, consistent components that serve as the building blocks for our designs. Each page is dedicated to one interactive component and breaks down its purpose, new features, visual styling, and interactivity. Furthermore, I condensed a large amount of complex medical and interaction information into concise sections on a tabloid-sized canvas.
