Addressing Medical Racism – Process Book

2022

Graphic Design 2

Highlighting the systemic issues women of color face when seeking medical care

This process book from my Graphic Design 2 class explores the applications of graphic design in the discussion of medical racism against women of color. It outlines the scope of the final project, the problem statement, research methods, and solution design for a piece that would highlight the systemic inequalities women of color face when seeking medical care.

The final project is comprised of a website concept, event design, and 3D renderings of objects used within the event. The book was created in Adobe InDesign, the wireframes in Adobe XD, and the 3D renderings in Adobe Illustrator and Dimension.
